Rohit Sharma may not take the field against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 13. The former Mumbai Indians (MI) captain had injured his knee in the nets about 10 days ago and had missed the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) match because of it. He subsequently, played against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and score 17 runs but it seems like that his knee issue has resurfaced.

On the eve of the DC vs MI match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Rohit was spotted with a knee strapping.

He also chatted with the medical staff. He also recieved some treatment and massages, before hitting the nets later.
MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene had talked about Rohit’s knee niggle before.
“Ro got a hit on his knee just in the IT (iliotibial) band, he tried to bat yesterday and couldn’t put any weight on it. Again, he came and did a fitness test early today to try, and it was discomfort for him to put weight on that so he felt it wasn’t 100% for him to play this game. That’s why we thought we will give him a few more days to try and get through that. Unfortunate what happened in the nets,” MI head coach had said after the LSG match.
