A MAN with ties to Ukraine was arrested after allegedly trying to assassinate President Donald Trump.
Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, tried to purchase a rocket launcher from Ukraine just weeks before allegedly trying to kill Trump.
Routh was allegedly chatting with a person he believed to have access to Ukraine military supplies, the Daily Mail reported.
The conversation happened on an encrypted messaging app, according to a court filing.
The filing claims that Routh asked for a rocket-propelled grenade from the person he was messaging.
