Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances around a person who was found dead inside an apartment in San Marcos, law enforcement said Sunday.
Deputies responded at about 3:05 p.m. Saturday to a call of a person found dead inside an apartment in the 1000 block of Armorlite Dr., said the San Diego Sheriff’s Department in a release.
“Upon arrival, deputies located the deceased person inside with no obvious signs of trauma,” Marquez said.
However, the sheriff’s department said that due to the suspicious nature of the incident, their Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
