A man was reportedly killed early Thursday when his car flew off the westbound 94 freeway at the connector to Interstate 15.
It’s the second time in a matter of days that there was a fatal crash on that exact stretch of freeway.
According to Onscene.Media, it is also the fifth such fatality within a year.
Units were dispatched at 3:35 a.m. Thursday and arrived a few minutes later to westbound State Route 94 near I-15, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said. There were 21 personnel assigned to the rescue, including two engines, two medics and one truck.
The circumstances that caused the crash were not immediately known.
