Candace Cameron Bure's fans love following along with the Full House alum's health and fitness efforts via social media—but just like everybody else, the actress sometimes deals with setbacks along the way.
The former child star took to Instagram this week—in a joint post with her daughter, Natasha Bure—to share a video documenting the duo's recent efforts to make a low-carb, keto-friendly snack: cottage cheese chips.

In the beginning of the short clip, raw dollops of cottage cheese were spread out on a cookie sheet, ready to be cooked in the oven...but the scene quickly changed to show the cooked "chips," which were actually just charred circles, being scraped from the pan.
"POV: Your last two brain cells in the kitchen together," Cameron Bure wrote over the footage, adding in the caption, "We’ll get em next time ?."

Cameron Bure's followers were highly sympathetic (not to mention amused).
"Well shoot ? it happens to the best of us!" one person wrote.
"Oh gosh. Silpats to the rescue!" someone else suggested.
"If this is cottage cheese , it never works for me. I've tried several times. I think it really needs to be drained well first," another commenter chimed in, to which Cameron Bure replied, "we strained it through cheese cloth first. Yeah, we tried again on parchment paper. They weren’t better but not crispy."
"If you were making bread crumbs it worked! ?❤️" somebody joked.
