SIMONE Biles sent a statement on Instagram after being subjected to vile taunts.
The gymnastics superstar shared some private messages she received from social media users.
Biles told her fans “hope y’all are having a better day than me.”
A sick message from someone on social media read, “Where (sic) you molested by that Nasser (sic) coach.
“Also don’t go on the internet taking criticism fron strangers about your husband or marriage.
“It shows how young and immature you really are damaged goods.”
Biles is married to NFL star Jonathan Owens.
She was also one of more than 100 people who received part of a $138.7 million settlement over Larry Nassar.
Nassar was USA Gymnastics doctor and is currently serving up to 175 years in prison.
He sexually assaulted young gymnasts in the largest sexual abuse scandal in the history of sports.
Biles wrote, “Hope y’all are having a better day than me.
“These are the texts I receive from random a** numbers.
“Btw y’all are f***in weird for this.”
Biles won three gold medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Husband Owens took time out from Chicago Bears training camp to fly to Paris and support her.
They added to her four she won at Rio 2016 and made Biles one of the greatest Olympians ever.
She bounced back from being forced to pull out of events while at the Tokyo 2020 Games for mental health reasons.
Biles was 20 years old when she emotionally opened up on her abuse at Nassar’s hands.
She wrote on Twitter, “I too am one of the many survivors that were sexually abused by Larry Nassar.
“Please believe me when I say it was a lot harder to first speak those words out loud than it is now to put them on paper.”
Testifying at a hearing into the crimes of the evil predator at the US Senate, Biles said, “I blame Larry Nasser, and I also blame an entire system that enabled and perpetrated his abuse
“If you allow a predator to harm children, the consequences will be swift and severe.”
