Oakland police officer punched by suspect at traffic stop lightThe incident happened at 7:06 p.m. San Jose police said officers are on the scene in the area of Locust and West Virginia streets.
San Jose PD alerted in a social media post that Locust St. from West Virginia St. to Grant St. will be blocked off as police investigate. There is no estimated time of reopening.
Residents are asked to please avoid the area and take alternate routes.
