The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission asks residents to submit nominations for people or projects to win the 2025 Historic Preservation Month Award.
The award honors individuals, groups and businesses that have helped protect and improve Greeley’s historic buildings and sites.
The 2024 winners were the Boys and Girls Club of Weld County, for restoring the Warnoco Building; Jeff and Kelly Cook, for turning the old Trinity Lutheran Church into a new office and co-working space called The Ambry; and Mile High Stucco, for fixing the outside of the Midnight Oil Bookstore Building.
To nominate someone for this award, residents can visit the Historic Preservation Office, 1100 10th St., where nomination forms have been made available. Additionally, residents can call 970-350-9222 or email [email protected] to get the form.
Nominations are due by noon Thursday, April 3. Residents should mail or deliver complete nomination forms to the Historic Preservation Office or email them to [email protected].
The Historic Preservation Commission will review submissions and select the winners. The winners will be announced at the Historic Preservation Month event 5 p.m. Monday, May 19 at the Boys and Girls Club Teen Center at Warnoco, 1407 2nd St.
