EASTENDERS legend Patsy Palmer is in “advanced talks” to star on Celebrity Big Brother.
The Sun exclusively revealed the reality show’s launch date is just days away on Monday 7 April.
And now adding to the line-up is TV star and iconic Walford actress Patsy, who plays Bianca Jackson on the BBC soap.
Patsy, 52, is said to be in advanced talks to join the fly-on-the-wall show when it returns next month, reports the MailOnline.
Patsy returned to EastEnders last year for the soap’s explosive 40th anniversary.
She has had an extended guest stint, but is set to leave later this month after she hinted she’d finished filming her final scenes.
Patsy threw a big leaving bash just weeks ago with fellow co-star Natalie Cassidy, who is also leaving the soap after 32 years.
A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother said: “Any names suggested for Celebrity Big Brother are purely speculation.”
AJ Odudu and Will Best will be back to host the celebrity series.
Each episode of the reality series will be followed each night by Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live — providing viewers with additional and exclusive content.
And the Celebrity Big Brother: Live Stream will also return to screens, airing seven nights a week on ITVX and STV Player.
Patsy will be in good company joining the likes of Towie star Ella Rae Wise and Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd.
The Sun on Sunday told how CBB bosses snapped up fellow Love Island hunk Chris Hughes.
A source said: “Producers think Chris will be a great addition to the house.
“He is really entertaining and was one of the most popular and iconic reality contestants with a massive social media following.
“Execs are hoping he will bring his huge young fanbase with him to the show, along with some juicy tales.
“He’s got loads of showbiz mates and has some famous ex girlfriends — he’ll be brilliant.”
In March, we also announced that Daley Thompson was in ‘advanced talks’ to join CBB 2025.
New Big Brother house
Bosses have relocated the famous house to a new area for the 2025 series — but it’s not far from the old one.
In December 2024, it was revealed that the house would move to brand new location from its Garden Studios home where it has been since the show returned to ITV.
But a fan-favourite feature has been ditched for the new series of CBB.
The Mezzanine floor — which was introduced by ITV when it rebooted Big Bro in 2023 — has been scrapped.
Over the last two years it’s often been a safe space for housemates to complain and talk about each other, after the smoking area was pulled from screens.
The move marks the fourth house for the reality show since its UK debut in 2000.
The first Big Brother house was purpose built in London where it played host to three series.
