Carlos Santana has Taylor Swift on his mind.
The famed musician is looking to do a female-centric cover album as one of his future releases, and he thinks she'd be the perfect partner.
"I want to do [a cover of Bob Marley & The Wailers'] 'No Woman, No Cry,' 'Just Like a Woman' by Bob Dylan and 'Natural Woman,' a Carole King song," he told TalkShopLive host Kathy Buccio in a recent interview promoting his latest album, Sentient.
The three are selections for an album that he wants to release that "validates" and "celebrates" the "female side of God."

"I think that for many, many centuries women have gotten a bum rap from the male gaze," he explained, later adding, "I gotta get together with my sister and take the female queen goddess to a whole other level of deep appreciation and validation."
While many folks are now in the business of asking others about Swift specifically, Buccio asked a question on behalf of a fan named Brent that elicited the response entirely organically: "Is there any artist you'd like to collab with?"
In addition to Swift, 35, the legendary guitarist, 77, noted Sting as another dream collaborator, who he said was a “normal, natural” choice because he loves the same thing that I love.”
For Sting, Santana has selected a song from Manu Dibango called “Summertime,” which he foresees being “a lot of fun to create” with the “Every Breath You Take” singer.
