(KRON) -- Two women are in critical condition Wednesday after a crash in San Jose’s Cory neighborhood involving two vehicles and two pedestrians.
The San Jose Police Department responded to the major injury collision just before 11 a.m. in the area of N Monroe Street and Cherrystone Drive. Two women pedestrians were rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
N Monroe Street remains blocked to all traffic between Sunny Vista Drive and Peachtree Lane, SJPD said at 12:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
