A power outage left hundreds of homes and businesses without electricity in the South Bay Tuesday, authorities said.
The blackout struck just after 1:30 p.m., knocking out power to a total of 1,067 San Diego Gas & Electric customers off Bay Boulevard near Chula Vista Bayside Park.
Service was expected to be restored to all the affected addresses by 11 p.m., according to SDG&E.
The cause of the outage was under investigation.
