OAKLAND – A person was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon in East Oakland, police said.

They arrived to find a person suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.
An investigation is underway into the shooting.
