Arizona State freshman guard Joson Sanon plans to enter the transfer portal, according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.
Sanon averaged 11.9 points (on 42.2% shooting), 3.4 rebounds and an assist in 28.3 minutes per game over 27 games for Arizona State in 2024-25.
The former four-star prospect had signed with the Sun Devils after flipping his commitment from Arizona.
The 6-foot-5 guard was a top-25 recruit in the 2025 class from Vermont Academy and held offers from UConn, Kentucky and Kansas, among other bluebood programs. He later reclassified to the 2024 class to make him eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft.
