TOM BRADY has revealed the private health battle he has suffered after 23 seasons playing in the NFL.
Brady, 47, is a legend of the sport after winning SEVEN Super Bowls.
The ace is widely considered to be the best quarterback in history.
And his stunning career saw him turn out for both the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, spending 23 years playing at the highest level of football has left Brady nursing a painful injury.
On Friday, the ace lifted the lid on a secret health battle he’s been forced to live with.
Brady revealed his fingers no longer have any real feeling due to damaged ligaments and nerves.
He said: “These fingers got pretty beat up over a long period of time.
“I can’t even bend that finger anymore. Torn ligament.”
Other injuries Brady sustained to his hands over the years included a second torn ligament, a broken ring finger and a slash across his palm from a helmet buckle.
However, he only ever missed 19 games throughout his entire 23-year career – with 15 due to a torn ACL and the other four through suspension.
But despite being in the wars, Brady is sure to still be all smiles thanks to his post-football gig.
After quitting the game, he took up a deal with Fox to become their lead NFL commentator.
Brady is being paid a whopping $375million over the course of a decade, making him the top-paid sports commentator in history.
