An unresponsive man was pulled Friday from a lake at Reseda Park.
Firefighters responded to the 6300 block of Etiwanda Avenue around 1:10 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of a person in a lake, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Stewart said several bystanders saw the man enter the lake without returning. He was removed and pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving measures by paramedics. His name was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
It was unclear what motivated the man to enter the lake.
