DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police confirmed with FOX31 on Thursday evening that at least one officer was involved in a shooting.
The agency said that none of its officers were injured, but that a suspect was transported to a hospital after the incident. The agency said it did not know the suspect's condition as of 7:10 p.m.
The agency said the shooting occurred in the 3500 block of Humboldt Street, which is in Denver's Cole neighborhood. The police department said that the area has road closures.
The area is mostly residential, but the location of the shooting appears to be on the same block as the Annunciation Catholic School Church Convent.
