AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Texas A&M Forest Service reported a wildfire burning Saturday in Gillespie County near Fredericksburg. At 2:12 p.m., the fire was estimated at 400 acres and 0% contained.
Fredericksburg Fire and EMS said some evacuations are occurring. Crews are working to evacuate people as needed.
Officials said a shelter is available at Faith Baptist Church at 3022 N. State Highway 16.
