In the same week that Kelsea Ballerini disappointed fans by abruptly canceling an upcoming Las Vegas show, she warmed the hearts of thousands of concertgoers by making one young listener's dreams come true.
In a clip shared to TikTok from Ballerini's appearance at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena on Thursday, March 13, the "Peter Pan" songstress invited a little girl in her audience to come up on stage and join her in a song.

"Can you tell me your name?" Ballerini asked the little girl, who managed to answer "Emily" (even though she seemed a little overwhelmed by the attention).
"Emily, that's such a pretty name!" Ballerini said. "Are you having a good night? You are? We're kinda matching, in our glitter," she added, gesturing at the little girl's pink and purple sequined cardigan and her own glittery blue one piece.
"Do you want to sing maybe a chorus of 'If You Go Down (I'm Going Down Too)'?" Ballerini asked Emily, prompting the little girl to nod.
"Okay! I don't have my guitar or anything, so we're just gonna wing it," Ballerini said before the pair broke out into a verse of her hit tune.

Fans on TikTok couldn't get over the sweet exchange.
"Getting down on her level. So personable," one person pointed out.
"We made the right girl famous," a second commenter agreed.
"It was SO PRECIOUS," gushed someone else.
This isn't the first time Ballerini has connected with a young music lover.
On an episode of The Voice last month, contestant Robert Hunter brought his wife and 3-year-old daughter Mary Blake on stage, asking his daughter to choose her favorite singer.
"Kelsea Ballerina," the toddler replied, making an adorable mistake.
When Mary Blake added that “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)" was her favorite song—and started singing—Ballerini jumped up to give the little girl a big hug.
