(KRON) -- All lanes are shut down on eastbound Highway 24 in Orinda after a fatal crash Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities responded around 8:27 a.m. to eastbound 24 at Wilder Road for a collision involving five vehicles, according to an incident report. All lanes were blocked as of 8:56 a.m.
No further details on the fatality were immediately available.
(Caltrans)Traffic is being diverted to the Wilder Road offramp, CHP said.
Drivers are advised to expect delays and use alternative routes. There is no estimated time to reopen the roadway.
