If you've ever wanted to visit Thailand, there's no better time than right now. Film tourism has been on the rise for the past few years, but with the popularity of the third season of The White Lotus, more people than ever are looking to visit the Southeast Asian destination. As Forbes reported, according to data from Expedia, after Thailand was announced as the setting of Season 3, searches for flights increased exponentially with Chiang Mai (up 65% year over year), Phuket (up 45%) and Koh Samui (up 30%), and it's not projected to slow down anytime soon. Henry recommends people plan a trip to Bangkok if they are looking to visit Thailand in the near future. "While many people picture Thailand as a beach paradise or imagine the mountainous landscapes of Chiang Mai, I’d argue that Bangkok is the must-visit destination right now," he tells Parade. "The city is undergoing exciting transformations, making it an even more dynamic place to explore." Thailand's capital has an energy that lures travelers in and invites them to explore everything it has to offer. It’s a place where tradition and modernity coexist in a way that’s endlessly fascinating, according to Henry.
