SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KRON) -- Five people were injured and a 6-year-old child was killed in a house fire Thursday morning in San Leandro, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded at 5:26 a.m. to the 2000 block of Altamont Road for a fire at a residence.
Crews found six total victims. Three children and two adults were transported to an area hospital. A fourth child, who officials said was 6-years-old, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
