A wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:59 a.m. in effect until Friday, Mar. 14 at 3 a.m. for Catalina/Santa Barbara Islands.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA states to be ready for, “West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
