That’s right, what better way to introduce a new menu item than by bringing back a popular offering of the past? According to a post shared to Instagram by the always informative @snackolator, KFC has decided to listen to its fans' calls for the return of the chain's beloved potato wedges. However there is a caveat.

“KFC heard the cries of so many for the potato wedges to return and they are giving fans a chance to make it happen,” @snackolator wrote online. “Starting today, Kentucky Fried Chicken is running a two week test at select locations in Tampa, FL,” the caption continued, “Tampa, it’s up to you if we bring them back nationally. No Pressure!”

Apparently, it’s going to be up to the dedicated fans of Tampa, Florida and the surrounding areas to show up and show out for their love of potato wedges. And in order to make things easier for those looking to take part in the official testing process, the following @kfc locations have been provided for your convenience:

For those who never got a chance to try KFC’s potato wedges in the past or simply don’t remember what they were like, one commenter online describes them as being “very similar” to Wendy’s breakfast potatoes. Another called KFC’s removal of the potato wedges a “huge disaster,” claiming that the wedges were their “favorite fries in all of fast food.”
