Neil Robertson’s latest slice of snooker history has netted him a cool £180,000.
Robertson produced a 10-0 demolition against Stuart Bingham to take home the 2025 World Grand Prix in Hong Kong.
By doing so, Robertson has become the first person to produce two whitewashes in multi-session finals.
The Australian’s previous finals whitewash came at the 2020 European Masters as he thrashed Zhou Yuelong 9-0.
Breaks of 87, 104, 71, 59, 72, 78 and 66 helped Robertson race out to an 8-0 lead at the Kai Tak Arena before he completed the drubbing by taking out the first two frames of the evening session.
Robertson’s whitewash was also just the second in a best-of-19 frame final, with Steven Davis the only other man to achieve the feat in the 1989 Grand Prix final.
Aside from the historic elements of the win, Robertson’s wallet received a big boost thanks to the £180,000 prize for winning this year’s World Grand Prix.
Speaking after the defeat, an emotional Bingham revealed the devastating news he had been struck by two personal tragedies in the lead-up to the final.
He also felt had he got the rub of the green a little more, the scoreline would have read much kinder.
“It’s hard to take positives,” Bingham said.
“Hats off to Neil. He took every chance today. He had a little bit of a run at the right times, but I had my chances.
“The score was 10-0. It could easily have been 5-5 if I took my chances.

“I always had the belief to do something but today wasn’t my day.
“My friend Lee Fairbrother, I feel for you. My long-term coach Joe Lazarus passed away this week and my Uncle Ray passed away this morning. So it hasn’t been a good week off the table.
Bingham, the 2015 world champion, added he hoped to face Robertson at the Players Championship in Telford, which begins on March 17.
“He isn’t going to beat me 10-0 then,” Bingham remarked.
As for Robertson, he acknowledged he was perhaps a little fortunate with how things played out on the baize.

Robertson’s triumph in Hong Kong marks his second title of the season having beaten Wu Yize 9-7 to take out the English Open final last September.
