(KRON) -- The San Francisco Police Department said a male suspect is hospitalized after he allegedly threatened residents with a firearm then shot at police in a late Saturday afternoon confrontation.
Juveniles arrested after Vallejo armed robbery: PDSan Francisco PD said officers responded at 4:23 p.m. to a home on the 1200 block of 41st Avenue in the city's Taraval District for a report of an armed man with a firearm threatening neighbors.
Police said when officers tried to approach the suspect, the man discharged his weapon and police returned fire, striking him.
San Francisco police said the suspect was taken to a local hospital with non-threatening injuries. Police said this is an isolated incident and there is no public threat.
