(KRON) -- The San Francisco Fire Department is warning residents to avoid an area of Clarendon Heights as it investigates a Saturday evening house fire on Geneva Avenue.
Wrong-way driver causes deadly head-on collision near ConcordSan Francisco FD said the blaze occurred at 5:25 p.m. on the 1100 block of Geneva Avenue, starting in the rear of the building then moving forward. Officials confirmed that one person was taken to a nearby hospital. American Red Cross has been notified of one displaced resident, SFFD said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) at 6:48 p.m.
People are being asked to avoid the area of Geneva westbound between Madrid and Naples streets due to emergency vehicles still at work.
