The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Saturday responded to a natural gas leak at 3202 N. Harbor Drive, which led authorities to close the bicycle path on the street’s bay side.
It was unclear what caused the gas leak, first reported at 10:53 a.m. Saturday, or if there were any injuries.
San Diego Harbor Police were controlling traffic, while San Diego Gas & Electric was also dispatched to the location. The fire department expected to remain on the scene for up to two hours, an official said.
