Prior to becoming one player in the long list of first-round Alabama draft picks, Allen was a game-wrecking defender for Nick Saban. He finished as one of the top pass rushers in Alabama history with 28.5 sacks and 46 TFL.
During the 2015 season, Allen led the Crimson Tide with 12 sacks and 15 TFL for a team that finished 14-1 and captured the College Football Playoff National Championship. During the 2016 season, the defensive lineman racked up individual honors as a Consensus All-American, the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and multiple national awards, including the Bronco Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik awards.
