FAYETTEVILLE – A suspect wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in Sacramento in November was arrested in North Carolina earlier this week, police said on Friday.
FBI and North Carolina law enforcement agents arrested 60-year-old Rayford Nunnelly in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Monday in connection to a deadly shooting on Shining Star Drive in Sacramento during the early-morning hours of Nov. 16.
Police said they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died eight days later.
In January, the Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers identified Nunnelly as a suspect.
