ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 10-year-old student from RCSD School No. 42 was honored at Rochester City Hall on Wednesday for her artwork.
Zahra Farady made her artwork for the Mayors for Peace: Children’s Art Competition and the piece is now on display at the United Nations. “I love my painting,” Zahra said.
The award commends art that uniquely expresses the significance of peace.
