Families can now register for kindergarten at all non-charter Greeley-Evans School District 6 schools for the 2025-26 school year.
Children must be 5 years old by Oct. 1, 2025, to attend kindergarten next school year, according to a district news release.

The district enrolls students into their neighborhood school based on their guardian’s primary address or an approved open enrollment application, the release said.

Kindergarten registration requires guardians to provide a child’s birth certificate and immunization records, according to the release. The family must also supply proof of address like a recent utility bill, lease agreement or closing papers from the purchase of a home.
District 6 asks anyone in need of registration assistance to contact the the district’s Admissions Office at 970-348-6062 or [email protected].
Admissions office visits can also happen from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at 1025 9th Ave., Greeley. The office will be closed Fridays in June and July.
Charter schools may have different enrollment requirements, policies and timelines, according to District 6. Children planning on attending a charter school should contact the school directly for more information.
