NEWARK, N.J. – A FedEx plane made an emergency landing at Newark airport on Saturday morning.
An airport official tells NBC in Philadelphia a bird strike caused one of its engines to catch fire. Airport staff say air traffic was briefly halted as a precaution, but operations have since resumed. They say no one was hurt.We will update this developing story as we get more information.
