In response to Topuria’s big decision, the promotion booked a matchup between former champion Alexander Volkanovski and red-hot contender Diego Lopes for the vacant featherweight strap. This five-round championship fight is set to go down in the main event of UFC 314, which takes place on April 12 in Miami.
