Woman accused of locking boyfriend in Monroe storage unit: Police

MONROE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A man escaped Monday after being locked in a Monroe storage unit last week, police say. 

According to the Monroe Police Department, Robin Deaton is accused of locking her boyfriend in a storage unit on Feb. 20 in the 1900 block of Old Charlotte Highway.

    Warrants were obtained for attempted murder and kidnapping, but she has not been arrested as of Tuesday morning. 

    The victim has not been identified.
