Santa Clarita Valley and San Fernando Valley are included in an updated wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 3:58 a.m. The advisory is valid from 6 p.m. until Thursday noon.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said, “North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
