Shafaq News/ An Israeli drone targeted a car belonging to a"prominent figure" in Saida City, southern Lebanon, Lebanese andIsraeli media reported on Monday.
The Lebanese army cordoned off the area around the car attack siteon the Saida seaside Corniche in the Al-Awali area.
The Lebanese Health Ministry Reported one fatality in the Israeli airstrike.
Meanwhile, Israeli Army Radio reported that the attack targeted a “prominentfigure,” adding that “Netanyahu left his trial session to approve theassassination operation in Lebanon."
Citing a security source, the Radio confirmed that “the airstrike'starget was an official from Hamas,” with reports suggesting that the personkilled was Mohammad Shaheen, a military official within the Palestinian group,while others indicated that DNA testing is being conducted to confirm hisidentity.
