(KRON) – Approximately 15 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and ammunition were located in a search warrant, said the Santa Rosa Police Department.
At 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Santa Rosa Special Enforcement Team (SET) police officers served multiple search warrants for an illegal narcotics trafficking case.
The first search occurred in the 2000 block of Plata Court, where Santa Rosa residents Kevin Pimienta-Martinez, 26, and Ivon Serna-Castrillo, 30. According to Santa Rosa PD, officers found a backpack containing approximately 15 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and a box of .22 caliber ammunition.
Photo: Santa Rosa PDPimienta-Martinez, according to police, was a convicted felon who is currently on federal probation for narcotics sales and prohibited from owning ammunition.
The other warrants were performed in the 4000 block of Arthur Ashe Circle, where one-half ounce of suspected narcotics were found, and the 400 block of East Cotati Avenue. No evidence was located in the East Cotati Avenue residents.
Pimienta-Martinez was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility for suspicion of possession of narcotics for the purpose of sales, transportation of narcotics, conspiracy and prohibited persons in possession of ammunition.
Serna-Castrillo was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility for suspicion of possession of narcotics for the purpose of sale, transportation of narcotics and conspiracy.
