Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Naveen Patnaik on Saturday urged the media to become the voice of the people.
Gracing the Jati Nandighosha 2025 Conclave, Naveen said that the media is the powerful medium of democracy. Therefore, media should play a crucial role in the interest of the people. It should be the voice of the people, he said.
Democracy, media and the people are on the one straight line. People are the supreme in a democracy, he added.
The BJD President also expressed his hope that Nandighosha TV will become the voice of the people and play a strong role in taking the development journey of Odisha further.
