Tempe-based Huss Brewing Co. announced Feb. 6 it has signed a multifaceted sponsorship deal with Arizona State University, which includes the creation of a Sun Devil specific ale.
The deal between Huss, ASU and the Sun Angel Collective will run for multiple years and will have marketing, licensing, retail and Name, Image and Likeness components to it.
Huss has brewed the “Official Craft Beer” for all Sun Devil Athletics, which will be known as Devil’s Halo Amber Ale. The beer will be sold at all Sun Devil sporting events, starting with baseball and softball games this spring.
“The ASU community has always supported Huss Brewing, ever since we started in a small warehouse space in south Tempe 12 years ago,” Leah Huss, the co-founder of Huss Brewing Co. said in a statement. “As Arizona’s premier craft brewer, we’re beyond excited to partner with Sun Devil Athletics on this exclusive collaboration for ASU fans and locals alike.”
