CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Nine people are displaced after a fire broke out at a home in southwest Charlotte on Sunday.
Crews responded to the 500 block of Crocus Street shortly before 12 p.m. regarding a structure fire. When crews arrived, they saw visible smoke coming from the home.

It took 30 firefighters 13 minutes to control the fire. Officials say the fire was mostly contained in the laundry room of the residence, stemming from an electrical issue.
There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters. The estimated property and content loss totals $115,000.
