OAKLAND — A man was found fatally shot in East Oakland early Sunday morning, authorities said.
Officers arrived to 50th Avenue and Coliseum Way around 5:39 a.m., to find the man, believed to be in his 30s, dead at the scene. No motive or suspect information is currently available and no arrests were announced.
The shooting is being considered a homicide, marking the 13th being investigated by the Oakland Police Department this year. Comparatively, the department was investigating nine homicides this time last year.
