Former India Cricket Team keeper Dinesh Karthik has made a strange request to Tilak Varma. Karthik has praised the young southpaw for his incredible form and batting in T20Is. Tilak Varma single-handedly helped India win the 2nd T20I in Chennai with an unbeaten knock of 72 runs.
Dinesh Karthik claimed that Tilak Varma played out a wonderful innings. He also claimed that he likes and appreciates the player. He also hoped that the Mumbai Indians batter would grow from strength to strength.

“Brilliant innings, great understanding of what the situation required. Hats off to him. Really like him as a player. I just wish he grows from strength to strength. Be nice against RCB, Tilak. He always does well against us,” Dinesh Karthik said on Cricbuzz
Apart from the praises, Dinesh Karthik has also made a strange request to Tilak Varma. He claimed that the southpaw always performs well against RCB. And thus has requested the ace batter to go easy against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL.
Coming to Tilak Varma, he was retained by Mumbai Indians on IPL 2025 Retention Day. Furthermore, he is now an active part of the India squad for the ongoing T20I series. India won the first 2 matches but was handed a shocking 26-run defeat at Rajkot. The Men in Blue will be hoping to seal the series with a win today in Pune.
