(KRON) -- BART commuters are advised to seek alternative forms of transportation Wednesday morning between Bay Fair and Union City stations, the Bay Area Rapid Transit District announced. Service is stopped as of 6:49 a.m. between the stations due to an equipment problem on the track.
“BART service has stopped between Bay Fair and Union City on the Berryessa Line in the Berryessa, Richmond, and Daly City directions due to an equipment problem on the track between Hayward and South Hayward,” transit officials said.
Riders who are seeking to get to San Francisco or Oakland are advised by the agency to go to Bay Fair station.
