The Blackhawks have lost three of their last four games — and all three required at least overtime (a shootout against Nashville). Holding a lead continues to be a massive issue for the Blackhawks; at least now we can accept some of these mistakes as learning moments from young players, but… they need to start being fewer and further between.
Meanwhile, Minnesota comes in having lost their last two and with six regulation losses in their last ten games. They need a win. The Blackhawks need… anything.
It’s Hockey Fights Cancer night at the United Center tonight. So if you’re headed to the game, wear your purple Blackhawks gear!

Injury Report
Chicago Blackhawks
Laurent Brossoit (knee), Craig Smith (back) and Connor Murphy (groin) are on IR.Minnesota Wild
Marcus Johansson and Jonas Brodin are on IR.What to Watch For
In my What to Watch For before the Tampa game I asked for a goal from Nazar and/or Dach. We got one from both! So let’s ask for a Bedard goal tonight against Faber and the Wild. The Blackhawks didn’t have Jones or Martinez at practice on Saturday because the flu is working its way around the room. They’re both IN tonight and TJ Brodie is a healthy scratch (the original plan for Friday night). Let’s see how the ice time is distributed this evening. Goaltending hasn’t been a problem for the Blackhawks. In fact, both netminders have been superb. How about not forcing them to face so many shots in single periods, though?Get Caught Up
