A 14-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 12-year-old Birmingham schoolboy Leo Ross, West Midlands Police said.
The boy, who cannot legally be named, has been remanded into custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
He has been charged with Leo’s murder, possession of a bladed article and six counts of assault on four women and two police constables.
Leo died after being stabbed in Hall Green, near Scribers Lane, on Tuesday.
West Midlands Police said the 12-year-old was found injured at around 3:40pm and passed away in hospital at around 7:30pm.
