Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton were not given a warm welcome as they made their way to the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump.
As Barack, 63, Bill, 78, and Hillary, 77, entered the U.S. Capitol rotunda in Washington, D.C., on Monday for the 78-year-old’s historic swearing-in ceremony, people at the Capitol One Arena could be heard loudly booing.
Many prominent political figures were on hand as Trump became the 47th President of the United States. However, one former first lady was noticeably absent from the event.

Barack’s wife, Michelle Obama, had made it clear prior to the inauguration that she would not attend Trump’s ceremony in which he is sworn in.
The former first lady did not explain her decision for missing the inauguration, but several reports suggested it is due to her dislike of the 45th (and now 47th) president.
Prior to the inauguration, Michelle missed former President Jimmy Carter's state funeral, where she would apparently have been seated next to Trump. Her advisers said it was due to a scheduling conflict.

Although it's tradition for former presidents and their families to gather at the Capitol to watch the incoming commander-in-chief take the oath of office, Michelle is not the first former first lady to miss the event.
Four years ago, the 47th president and his wife, Melania Trump, missed Joe Biden's inauguration after President Trump refused to accept the election results.
For her husband's big day, Melania wore a dark navy coat with a matching navy hat with a white stripe, dark navy heels and black gloves. Her hat in particular drew comparisons to the McDonald's character Hamburglar.
