The Chapel Hill Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a local teenager reported missing overnight.
An alert shared early Sunday morning said police hope to locate Alex Morgan of Chapel Hill. The 14-year-old was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Taylor Street — a residential road off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near its intersection with Homestead Road. According to the message, Morgan is not believed to be in danger.

Chapel Hill Police describe Morgan as 5-foot-2 and weighing around 130 pounds, with a photo provided by police showing she has shoulder-length dark hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, gray sweatpants and a black backpack.
