A big complaint was posted to X recently by a shopper that claimed her local Dollar General ‘needs better service.’
But if that wasn’t enough, the customer noted that the store had also run out of a shopping necessity.
In a post on X, the shopper addressed the company directly and shared an image.
“The @DollarGeneral in South Bay, FL.”
continued, “It needs better service.”
“This store is cluttered and looks like a storage shed.”
Frustrated, the customer continued, alongside an image posted that read, ‘WE HAVE NO BAGS.’
She then shared, “Now they have no bags.”
finished with, “Really, are they gonna help us carry them out?”
soon caught the attention of Dollar General.
Dollar General replied to the original post, saying, “We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, Karen.”
They then followed up, “Could you kindly share the exact address for the location you’re referring to?”
Karen soon responded to the reply, sharing details of the store in question.

After this response, there were no further replies.
It might be too early to tell whether the store has been cleaned up or if any maintenance plans for the store are underway.
This isn’t the first time the retailer has come under fire.
