STOCKTON – An investigation is underway after a shooting in downtown Stockton left one person hurt late Monday morning.
Stockton police say, just after 11 a.m., officers responded near S. San Joaquin and E. Market streets to investigate a report of a person shot.
At the scene, officers found a 47-year-old man with a gunshot wound. That man was taken to the hospital but police noted that his injury appeared to be not life-threatening.
